| Session 00 - The Wand Chooses the Wizard |
Cassie Weasley, Vi Thorne & Basil Featherstone learn that they are selected by the Ministry of Magic to join the D.I.A.D.E.M.s |
| Session 03 - Foray Into the Forbidden Forest |
The Daily Prophet carries a story that there have now been a total of 22 removals from the Ministry of Magic "for conduct unbecoming a Witch or Wizard in the employ of the Ministry" |
| Session 03 - Foray Into the Forbidden Forest |
Cassie Weasley, Vi Thorne & Basil Featherstone learn a little of the Wizarding World's divisions during the last War: A rebel group known as the Wizarding Interventionist Unit was founded (or formed organically?) repeatedly defying the International Statute of Secrecy (for the first time since The Ilfracombe Incident in 1932). Meanwhile, the Ministry of Magic was divided; Whilst Hector Fawley, Minister of Magic espoused non-intervention, scheming elements of his Privy Council sought to bribe, threaten or otherwise influence muggle events. |
| Session 04 - Voices from Elsewhere |
Cassie, Vi & Basil have an opportunity to question Jackdaw Finch. He is suprisingly forthcoming, having perhaps realised he cannot carry all of the weight he does alone. They learn that he has had a difficult start at Hogwarts, with the faculty resenting his Ministry of Magic associations. He is an Investigator in the Department of Mysteries, tasked with - amongst other things - attending to the Hall of Prophecy. The ministry sought volunteers to embed themselves at Hogwarts to prevent strong young wizards 'going dark'. Given his desire to investigate Septimus Finch's disappearance, he took the role. |
| Session 05 - Trouble at the Mine |
As Cassie, Vi & Basil aid Jackdaw Finch in preventing the escape of any of the muggle soldiers (whilst also stopping Kiko from doing anything else crazy), Jackdaw tweaks the memories of the survivors and sends them on their way. He then disapparates to report the incident to the Ministry of Magic, despite Cassie's attempts to persuade him to... tidy up... by other means. |
| Session 06 - Arania Exumai! |
Kiko begins to explain the nature of magic in the Wizarding World. The power that witches and wizards draw through their wands is inherent in nture, and emanates especially strongly from certain locations. Hogwarts Valley, Diagon Alley, Godric's Hollow and the site of the Ministry of Magic are all examples of this. This magic is ancient and raw. Wandlore allows witches & wizards to control it, whilst other magic beings (Goblins, Centaurs, House Elves and the like) have to embrace it in its rawer more natural state |
| Session 06 - Arania Exumai! |
Cassie, Vi & Basil use the Messaging Scrap to contact Jackdaw Finch at the Ministry of Magic. Jackdaw explains that he is 'smoothing things over. Speak to no one on your way back to the castle'. With which, the party returns stealthily to the safety of the School grounds. |
| Session 11 - First Year Flyby |
Intending to try and bypass the Ministry of Magic squad at the Hogsmeade sinkhole, Cassie obtains from Jackdaw Finch a sample of Percival Graves' signature. She uses it to forge a permission slip to enter the skinkhole. |
| Session 11 - First Year Flyby |
As Cassie, Vi & Basil arrive at the sinkhole they find a squad of Ministry of Magic witches and wizards firing spells ineffectually into the void, watched over by Alastair Thorpe-Wick, Head of eth Dept of Magical Mysteries. |
| Session 13 - Under More Controlled Conditions |
Jackdaw Finch secures the Ancient Magical IED, with the intention of calling in the specialists from the Ministry of Magic to ensure/make it safe |
